About
Hey there, I'm Pete. So glad you dropped by.
I've always been a creative person and find that I am most at peace when making something out of nothing. When I was a kid my dad would bring home these big boxes of dot-matrix printer paper, the kind with the holes on the sides of the page, which I would use as an endless ream of drawing paper. Then, while in high school I took to acrylic paints. Those of you who were around in the 80's probably remember denim jackets with album covers painted on them. Yeah, I did some of those. Around that same time my attention turned to making music, Then, as happens, college, family, work, and life-in-general happened and my artwork took a long hibernation.
Now, as my kids are growing up, I've turned back to acrylic paint and have begun creating the body of work you see here. Please, grab a drink and a comfy chair and stay a while. I hope you find something here that you absolutely love -- you know the kind of art that speaks to you as if it were made for your home. My house is filled with it. I hope yours is too, even if you don't find it here (but I hope you find it here).
A lover of the arts, a few years ago some friends and I started a local arts group, Artists of Morrisville, so we could share our art in our community. There's an amazing amount of diverse talent in this tiny borough. Check them out at https://www.artistsofmorrisville.org/
I live in the Philadelphia area with my lovely wife, three terrific kids, an overly-friendly dog, and irascible cat.
